Services

The scheduling system lets clients book appointments directly from your website. Start by creating services in the Scheduling section. Each service has a name, duration, price, and optional deposit requirement.

Custom Duration

For services with flexible timing (like consultations), set a minimum duration, maximum duration, and step size. Clients will see a duration picker during booking.

Packages

Bundle multiple services into a package with a set price and optional discount percentage. Clients can book a package from the booking wizard.

Custom Fields

Add custom questions that appear during booking — text fields, dropdowns, checkboxes, and more. Assign them to specific services or apply them to all.

Recurring Appointments

Enable recurring on a service to let clients book weekly, biweekly, or monthly recurring sessions. Knotful creates all instances automatically.

Date-Based Pricing

Set special pricing for date ranges — perfect for peak season surcharges or holiday rates. You can set a flat price override or a multiplier (e.g., 1.5× for peak dates).

Deposits

Require deposits on services as a fixed amount or percentage. When a booking is made, the deposit is tracked in the Deposits tab. Mark deposits as paid when payment is received.

Your Booking Page

Your booking page has its own URL that you can share with clients or add to your website's main navigation. Clients can browse your services, pick a time, and submit their booking without needing an account.
